Alright, So as you know, I’m in photography and it’s a demanding program that needs us to be out a lot of the times to shoot and get “good images”. I feel the same about a lot of programs that are demanding and just need you to focus and get things done.
I have a few friends that are going through a slightly rough patch with school and just trying to get things done and what not. My friends either just don’t give a damn, aren’t trying hard enough, don’t have the money to do things, and just being overwhelmed in general by the program. It’s really hard for me to understand this sometimes because I’ve been brought up to care about this and I have a completely different view of what school is to me. I have financially supported by my parents and I would like to think I’m organized enough to get things done on time or even done before hand. But after awhile, this really deserves some tough love. I love my friends dearly but seriously, some of them just need to get it together. All my friends have so much potential to do so well in what they do and I want to see them succeed. It’s frustrating to hear that my friends either want to drop out or just have school just end already. I have a view that school is very important because you do what you need to do to get the job you want or even make a job for someone else.
I’m not sure where I’m going with this but I do hope that all my friends get their mind together and get through this “tough” time.
